ANSAMBLE NARODNIH IGARA SRPSKOG KULTURNOG DRUŠTVA „PROSVJETA“

ANI - Ansambl narodnih igara SKD "Prosvjeta" (Ensemble of Traditional Dances of Serbian Cultural Society “Prosvjeta”) was founded in 2001 in Vukovar/Croatia as the Regional Folklore Ensemble of the Serbian community for Eastern Slavonia, Baranja and Western Srijem (Croatia).

In 2006, The Main Committee of SKD “Prosvjeta” (umbrella cultural institution of the Serbian community in Croatia) appointed the Regional Folklore Ensemble in the Ensamble of Traditional Folk Dances of SKD “Prosvjeta” with headquarters in Vukovar and with the area of activity that is the area where SKD “Prosvjeta” is active – Croatia.

ANI has a representative role for the Serbian community living in Croatia as well as for the City of Vukovar in which is located.

ANI's vision is: commitment to youth and cultural education; restoration of real values that are reflected in traditional culture.

The ultimate goal is that their concerts and public performances carry a message of valuable cultural amateurs and an important message of the past for the future.
