Adriatic GreeNet-onlus

Adriatic GreeNet-onlus (AGNet) is an international network of ecological and cultural associations founded in 2005, with registered office in Monfalcone, viale San Marco 15, FVG/Italy.

„The Association “Adriatic GreeNet”-onlus, is the result of an international network of associations, having exlclusively social solidarity aims and has as its main objectives the promotion and protection of

- nature and environment,

- cultural diversity and cultural heritage.

- peace and human rights.

Adriatic GreeNet promotes, at local and international level, sustainable development policies based on the protection of biodiversity, as well as the combination of natural, human, social and cultural elements, equality of men & women and public participation.

Among other activitis, since 2011 AGNet has been organizing, in cooperation with UNESCO Club from Udine (member of the Italian National Federation of UNESCO clubs), self-financed project of international volunteer camps „I Care for…“.

This project includes the implementation of international volunteer camps in several small places with specific historical, cultural and natural values in four countries (Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Italy and Serbia) because these places are very important for a better understanding of our common European Cultural Heritage and deserve be declared a UNESCO World Heritage sites or are already under the protection of UNESCO. This project was the basis for „I Care for Europe“ Small European Towns Cultural Network which was established in December 2013.
