Activities for representatives of the local communities - members of the I Care for Europe Network - Hutovo Blato Nature Park:

- EU programmes & policies to increase sustainable development based on cultural heritage

- Promotion of Active Citizenship & new job opportunities for youth in European small towns

 

11.00: Presentation of an example of good practice: Canoe Safari by NGO “Secret of Nature”

 

12.00: Workshop: Drafting joint projects for sustainable development, based on concrete ideas for Network’s future projects

 

14.00: Common lunch (Swedish table)

 

17.00: Celebration of the European Year of Cultural Heritage:

- Opening of the exhibition: "Cultural Heritage of Our Network"+ drawings/paintings of YouthCreativeWorkshop "Our Future in Europe"

- Concert of Klapa singing – performances of klapa from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina

- Folklore tradition of Neretva Valley – performances of folk groups from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina

09.00: Departure for Mostar

- Sightseeing of the Old Bridge, UNESCO World Heritage site, and the historic center of Mostar

- Free time

- Free lunch

14.00: Gathering of participants in a parking lot near the catholic church in Mostar

 

15.00: Sightseeing of Počitelj

16.00: Sightseeing of Mogorjelo

17.00: Participation in the Uštipak Fest in Čapljina (uštipak=traditional donut)

20.00: Common dinner
